We are a small, Family Owned and Operated Kennel located in Northern, CA. All of our dogs are spoiled house pets as well as wonderful Show Dogs. We specialize in American Staffordshire Terriers/American Pitbull Terriers and Chihuahuas as well as Handle other Breeds for Friends/Clients. All of our dogs have outstanding temperaments and are raised with other dogs, cats and children. All of our dogs are owner handled to their Championships and health Tested Prior to Breeding. We Breed occasionally for SHOW DOGS and for ourselves, and according to the breed standards. Show Puppies will come with a Health Guarantee, Co-Ownership and a strict Show Contract. Pet puppies come with a health guarantee and a strict spay/neuter contract. We breed for Quality and not Quantity! Amstaffs/APBT Our Amstaffs come from the Absolute Best In Specialty Show winning Champion lines and are dual registered with both the AKC and UKC. We've selected our foundation dogs from the best Kennels/Lines in the USA and it shows! Our Staffs/APBTs are shown to their dual Championships prior to breeding. You will also see them completing their UKC Grand Championship titles as well as see them competing in the AKC Specials Ring. Here at Orchid Kennels Health testing is very important to us and we are proud to back up the health of our dogs by offering health guarantees. Staffs will have completed their OFA Cardiac clearances before being bredalong with receiving a passing score on their OFA Hip Certifications. Temperament is extremely important to us here at Orchid Kennels. Our Staffs/APBTs excel in the conformation ring, obedience, weight pull, and also make great family pets! At Orchid Staffs we breed to adhere to the AKC/UKC Standards with emphasis on structure, bone, substance, correct movement, beautiful expression and stunning head pieces. We continue to strive to better the quality of this wonderful breed along with adding that extra something Special that makes an Orchid Amstaff/APBT really stand out! We breed occasionally and for ourselves but may have a once in a lifetime show/breeding prospect puppy available to the right person. Chihuahuas Our Chihuahuas are AKC registered and come in Smooth, Long and even Double "Rough" Coat types. We offer a wide variety of colors including Blue and Merle. All of our Chihs are wonderful show dogs and are in the process of completing their AKC Championship titles if they have not done so already. Here at Orchid Chihs Temperament is first and foremost . Our chihs have exceptional temperaments and are extremely confident and absolutely love everyone they meet, including children and other animals. They are also cute as can be as well as conformationally correct and sound. All Chihs have their Patellas (knees) checked and cleared prior to breeding as well as their eyes checked by a vet. We breed for great temperaments and according to the AKC Standard with emphasis placed on beautiful head/expression, correct conformation and standard size (2-6 lbs) with beautiful movement and a wonderful temperament. We are always striving to better the quality of this brilliant little breed! Here at Orchid Chihs exhibiting our dogs in conformation is very important to us. We breed to produce outstanding show quality puppies that will finish their Championships as well as provide lifetime loving companionship for you. We occasionally have show puppies available to the right owner as well as perfect pet puppies available from time to time. |
